1. The first step is to make sure you have registered at ForexDatasource.com, you
can do this at this
link. The registration form will give you
a valid login for the FX Hound after you have installed it to your desktop.
2. The second step is to download the "installer file" onto your desktop. To do
this, click on the link above and select "Save as" and save the file in your desktop.
Hint: after installation you can delete it.
3. The third step is to click twice on the FXHoundSetup icon - this icon should
be in your desktop if that is where you saved it. When a small window appears and
prompts you to install the FX Hound, select "next" a total of three times (next,
next, next).
4. The final step is to click twice on the FX Hound icon on your desktop - this
icon displays a horse head. Once the FX Hound 3.0 appears, enter your login information.
Hint: the username is your e-mail.
If you experience a problem opening the FX Hound or if it operates in an unexpected
way, the probable cause is that Java program in your computer is a little outdated.
To solve this problem, simply download the latest version of Java for your computer
at
www.java.com and then try to run the FX Hound 3.0 again. If you are new to Java,
Java is a well known program that helps web-based applications run faster. It is
also a free application.

Note: When there is a multi-screen setup, the FX Hound 3.0 may not display because
it is in invisible section of one of the monitors.
To solve this problem, use the Display Settings section of your monitor and temporarily
consolidate your screens into one screen. Then find the FX Hound 3.0 and move it
to a visible area, and finally restore the multi-screen settings. Another alternative
is to view the FX Hound with a single monitor computer, such as a laptop.
